The announcement comes\nwith an aim<strong>&nbsp;to\nenhance security&nbsp;<\/strong>of the cash vending machines.&nbsp;<br>\nThe ATMs shall be operated for cash\nreplenishment only with digital<strong>&nbsp;One\nTime Combination (OTC)&nbsp;<\/strong>locks. All banks can also roll out\na comprehensive e-surveillance mechanism at the ATMs. This will ensure timely\nalerts and quick response.<br><br><strong>Committee\non Currency Movement (CCM):<\/strong><br>\nThe RBI had set up a<strong>&nbsp;Committee on Currency Movement\n(CCM) in 2016<\/strong>. The committee was asked to review the entire\ngamut of security of treasure in transit and submit reports regarding that.
