It is also called\nacute viral encephalitis or aseptic encephalitis.<br>\nSymptoms: The viral disease causes mild flu-like\nsymptoms such as a<strong>&nbsp;high\nfever, personality changes,&nbsp;convulsions (seizures),<\/strong>&nbsp;severe\nheadache, nausea and vomiting, stiff neck, confusion, &nbsp;problems with\nspeech or hearing, hallucinations, memory loss, drowsiness and coma.<br>\nkids with encephalitis need care in a hospital.\nBy monitoring their&nbsp;<strong>blood\npressure, heart rate, breathing, and body fluids<\/strong>&nbsp;further\nswelling of the brain can be prevented. Encephalitis<strong>&nbsp;can&#8217;t be prevented,<\/strong>&nbsp;but\nillnesses that may lead to it can be avoided.
