Transport Department, Assam has invited application for the posts of 225 Junior Assistant, Assistant Enforcement Inspector, Enforcement Checker, Grade-IV and other vacancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(A) Under Commissionerate of Transport, Assam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

(B) Under Directorate of Inland Water Transport, Assam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Age limit:<\/strong> Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2002and on or after 01-01-1982).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relaxation:<\/strong> Upper age limit is relaxable as under:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i) 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) & ST (H).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii) 03 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC\/MOBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i) Junior Assistant (HQ. Level& District Level) & Computer:<\/strong> The candidate must be a Graduate in Arts\/Science\/ Commerce or equivalent from a recognized College\/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University and must possess Diploma in Computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii) Assistant Commercial Officer:<\/strong> The candidate must be a Graduate in Arts\/Science\/ Commerce or equivalent from a recognized College\/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii) Stenographer-III:<\/strong> The candidate must be a Graduate in Arts\/Science\/ Commerce or equivalent from a recognized College\/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University with having National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam or any other Institutes recognized by Govt. of Assam\/Govt. of India with 80 words per minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv) Assistant Enforcement Inspector:<\/strong> Higher Secondary (10+2)or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board\/ Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

v) Enforcement Checker:<\/strong> HSLC or equivalent examination passed from any recognised Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

vi) Machinist:<\/strong> HSLC or equivalent examination passed with Diploma in Machinist from ITI or Govt. recognized Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

vii) Fitter Helper:<\/strong> HSLC or equivalent examination passed with Diploma in Fitter from ITI or Govt. recognized Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

viii) Electrical Wireman:<\/strong> HSLC or equivalent examination passed with Diploma in Electrical Wireman from ITI or Govt. recognized Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ix) Grade-IV(District Level):<\/strong> Class VIII Passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Fee: <\/strong>No Application Fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selection Process: <\/strong>Written test and computer based exam to test the knowledge of posts applied and proficiency in computer operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
