It is an initiative under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, to provide psychosocial support to students for their Mental Health and Well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key-Points<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To monitor and promote the mental health issues and concerns of students and teachers and to facilitate providing of support to address the mental health and psychosocial aspects during conditions like COVID 19 and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the COVID pandemic, the government felt the need to focus on continuing education on the academic front and the mental well-being of the students. Govt has therefore, taken up an initiative, named, \u2018MANODARPAN\u2019 covering a wide range of activities to provide Psychosocial Support to students for their Mental Health &amp; Well-being during the COVID outbreak and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Manodarpan\u2019 initiative has been included in the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, as a part of strengthening human capital and increasing productivity and efficient reform and initiatives for the Education sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can visit the site of <a href=\"http:\/\/manodarpan.mhrd.gov.in\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Manodarpan<\/strong><\/a> for better Mental Health and Well-being support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Government has launched Manodarpan initiative virtually on 21st July, 2020.
