The Reserve Bank of India\nhad set up an eight-member\nexpert committee<\/strong> under the leadership of former chairman\nof SEBI, UK Sinha\non 18 June 2019.<\/strong> The aim is to review the current framework for the MSME\nsector. <\/strong>

\n3)Pankaj Jain, Joint secretary at the department\nof financial services 
\n4)PK Gupta, SBI managing director 
\n5)Anup Bagchi, ICICI Bank executive\ndirector 
\n6)Professor Abhiman Das, IIM- Ahmedabad 
\n7)Sharad Sharma, Ispirit Foundation\nfounder 
\n8)Bindu Ananth, Dvara Trust chairperson

\nPurpose\nof the committee:<\/strong>
\nThe expert committee was set up to:
\n\u2666 suggest a long-term solutions for the economic and financial sustainability<\/strong> of\nthe micro, small\nand medium enterprises<\/strong>
\n\u2666 to study the impact of the recent economic\nreforms on the sector 
\n\u2666 to identify the structural problems affecting\nits growth
\n\u2666 to submit the report analysis by the end of\nJune
\nUpon reviewing the existing MSME focused\npolicies and their impact, the committee will propose measures for leveraging technology<\/strong> in\naccelerating growth of the sector apart from recommending the global best\npractices.
