England\ncaptain Eoin Morgan<\/strong> set\nthe world record for most\nsixes (17) in an One Day International (ODI). <\/strong>He achieved\nthis record during his 71-ball\n148-run knock against Afghanistan<\/strong>in World Cup on 18 June 2019.\nMorgan was assisted by Joe\nRoot<\/strong> in the 189-run partnership for the third wicket\nduring which Root made 88 runs off 82 balls.

\nThe previous record for most sixes (16 sixes)<\/strong> was\njointly held by Rohit\nSharma, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers.<\/strong> England ended up\nwith the 6th\nhighest team total in a World Cup match <\/strong>with 397 for 6 in\n50 overs after they opted to bat first at Old Trafford cricket ground.
