He will succeed retiring MD and CEO Aditya Puri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having joined as a manager in the finance function in 1996, Mr. Jagdishan rose to become the bank\u2019s chief financial officer in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jagdishan joined the bank in the year 1996 as a manager in the finance division.
