The 14th India-Singapore Defence Policy Dialogue (DPD) was held via video conferencing which was co-chaired by Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar and Permanent Secretary (Defence), Singapore Mr Chan Heng Kee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both sides held discussions on a number of issues of bilateral defence engagements between India and Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the DPD, the Implementing Arrangement on Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief (HADR) between India and Singapore was also signed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Singapore-India Defence Policy Dialogue was established under the revised Defence Cooperation Agreement signed in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It serves as a regular forum for both countries to discuss mutual defence cooperation, as well as exchange views on strategic issues and geopolitical developments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
