Central government has launched a scheme for solarisation of Konark Sun Temple and Konark town in Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the scheme, the Centre aims to set up the 10-MW grid-connected solar project and various solar off-grid applications such as solar drinking water kiosks, solar trees, and off-grid solar power plants with battery storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will be set up with a 100% central financial assistance (CFA) support of around Rs.25 crore from the Government of India through the MNRE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The implementation of the project will be done by the Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scheme is expected to meet all the energy requirements of Konark town with solar energy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
