It has been designed in a way to help manufacturers in solar energy devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Collector is a lightweight and low-cost system with high energy efficiency and can operate under the country’s varied climatic conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trough Collector will focus on sunlight on a small area where it is absorbed. It is then utilized for heating and subsequently into energy generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The system can help to develop solar energy devices with higher efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is in line with the Centre’s National Solar Mission which has set a target of providing 20,000 MW solar power by 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
