Union Minister Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the 18th Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for the Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh through a Video Conference on 8 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The setting up of CAT Bench of Jammu will deal exclusively with service matters of government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will reduce the burden of various Courts and will also provide to the persons covered by the Administrative Tribunals speedy relief in respect of their grievances and service matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the 3 important agencies of DoPT namely Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Central Information Commission (CIC), and Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) are now operational in UTs of J&k and Ladakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CIC is currently hearing the Right to Information (RTI) Act applications of applicants from the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
