{"id":31145,"date":"2020-06-08T09:36:16","date_gmt":"2020-06-08T09:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=31145"},"modified":"2020-10-14T09:37:57","modified_gmt":"2020-10-14T09:37:57","slug":"dr-jitendra-singh-inaugurated-cat-bench-at-jammu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/dr-jitendra-singh-inaugurated-cat-bench-at-jammu\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated CAT Bench at Jammu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Union Minister Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the 18th Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for the Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu &amp; Kashmir and Ladakh through a Video Conference on 8 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The setting up of CAT Bench of Jammu will deal exclusively with service matters of government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will reduce the burden of various Courts and will also provide to the persons covered by the Administrative Tribunals speedy relief in respect of their grievances and service matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the 3 important agencies of DoPT namely Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Central Information Commission (CIC), and Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) are now operational in UTs of J&amp;k and Ladakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CIC is currently hearing the Right to Information (RTI) Act applications of applicants from the UTs of J&amp;K and Ladakh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Minister Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the 18th Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for the Union Territories (UTs) of Jammu &amp; Kashmir and Ladakh through a Video Conference on 8 June.
