This will ending\nthe years of legal battle and ensure better service benefits for the CAPF.<br>\nThe cabinet approved the extension of benefit of <strong>Non-Functional Financial Upgradation (NFFU) and\nNon-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG)<\/strong> to the<strong> group A service officers<\/strong> of these\nparamilitary forces. The move comes after a Supreme Court order asked the\ngovernment to extend the benefit, which are already available to IPS, IAS, IRS\nand IFS officers, to CAPF officers.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Organised Group A Service status&nbsp;Benefits:<\/strong><br>\nThe approval will benefit around<strong> 1,200 <\/strong>such\nofficers.&nbsp;This will grant NFFU to eligible <strong>Group\n\u2018A\u2019 Executive Cadre Officers of CAPF<\/strong> and would also benefit\nGroup \u2018A\u2019 Executive Cadre Officers of CAPF to avail the benefit of NFSG at an <strong>enhanced rate of 30%<\/strong> as per\nguidelines.<br>\nThe benefit would be availed by the group &#8216;A&#8217; officers of the <strong>Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) ,\nIndo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central\nIndustrial Security Force and the Sashastra Seema Bal.<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF):<\/strong><br>\nCAPF refers to a combination of <strong>seven security forces<\/strong>\nin India.
