Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched the web tool \u2013 \u2018Vasool So-Ft\u2019 (Vasool\nSo-Fast) \u2013 for digitalising the NPA (non-performing asset) recovery process of\nthe bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Launching the tool in Mangaluru, Mahabaleshwara MS, Managing Director and\nChief Executive Officer of the bank, said the digital tool for the recovery of\nstressed assets will provide an end-to-end digital solution. It will enable\neasy and faster processing, real time information and immediate decision making\nin the recovery area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He told that all the steps related to recovery from identifying the account\nas NPA till its resolution are digitalised with this tool. \u201cWe would be knowing\nthe impact of each and every account on real-time basis. The follow-up will be\neasy with this,\u201d he said, adding that this tool will enhance the overall\nefficiency in the recovery efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mahabaleshwara said that the bank has joined hands with a local IT start-up\nto develop the tool for recovery management. He said the launching of the\ndigital tool for recovery management is part of the transformational journey of\nthe bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
