Once completed, the state of the art institute dealing with\nhealth issues related with high altitudes would be first of its kind in Asia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six Sigma\nhealth care, a company which at present is operating hospitals in Kedarnath,\nTungnath and Madmaheshwar has proposed to set up the mega Rs 750 cr project in\nRudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. On Saturday, a delegation of the Six Sigma\nhealth met the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at his residence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nproposal for setting up the institute was given by the medical director of Six\nSigma Healthcare, Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj. The CM accepted the proposal and said\nthat the government would provide land for the institute in Rudraprayag\ndistrict. He appreciated the team of Sigma health care for providing healthcare\nfacility in Kedarnath. The CM added that the state government is committed to\nprovide quality health services in the mountainous areas and for it work under\nUttarakhand Health system development project is being done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this\nmemorable occasion, the CM felicitated Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, Dr. Arvind Kumar,\nDr. Parvej Ahmed, Dr. Anita Bhardwaj, Bhim Bahadur and Debjit Nayak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr.\nPradeep Bharadwaj, Director of the Six Sigma Healthcare said that &#8220;the\ngovernment has agreed to provide 30 acres of land for the project. The\ninstitute once operational would provide jobs to 1227 youths. Dr. Bhardwaj said\nthat the objective of the institute is to develop all type of research in\nAllopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Yoga concerning High Altitude\nMountains and to educate professionals in mountain medicines&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ninstitute would also train armed forces and para-military personnel in Mountain\nMedicines and would offer courses in mountains medicines and high altitude\nrescue. It would also train local people, schools, colleges in high altitude\nrescue and disaster. Dr. Bhardwaj added that the institute would help in\nchecking migration and provide employment opportunities for locals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Bhardwaj claimed that the institute would be best of its kind in Asia and it would provide necessary high altitude medical services to pilgrims and tourists. The proposed institute would also help in enchansing high altitude communications (HAM) and endeavour to develop better food product and beverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project and approval:<\/strong><br><strong>Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat<\/strong> approved the proposal for setting up the institute which was given by the medical director of Six Sigma, Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj.&nbsp;<br>The estimated the cost of the project is <strong>Rs.750 Crore project.<\/strong> If completed, the institue would be first of its kind in Asia. &nbsp;The State government has agreed to provide <strong>30 acres of land<\/strong> for the project.
