{"id":34790,"date":"2020-12-14T02:45:02","date_gmt":"2020-12-14T02:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=34790"},"modified":"2020-12-14T02:45:06","modified_gmt":"2020-12-14T02:45:06","slug":"hospital-management-information-system-trial-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/hospital-management-information-system-trial-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Hospital Management Information System Trial Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Indian Railways has launched another major IT initiative towards according priority for the well-being of its work force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key-Points<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The HMIS in Railways has been developed by Indian Railways in coordination with RailTel Corporation Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the HMIS is to provide a single window of clearance of hospital administration activity such as clinical, diagnostics, pharmacy, examinations, industrial health etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary objectives of envisaged solution are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Effectively manage all the health facilities &amp; its resources<\/li><li>Monitor performance of hospitals across the administrative channel<\/li><li>Impart quality health care services to its beneficiaries<\/li><li>Improve the patient turn-around time<\/li><li>Generate and maintain EMR (electronic medical records) of all patients<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Presently, 3 Modules of HMIS \u2013 Registration, OPD Doctor Desk &amp; Pharmacy \u2013 are being taken up implemented.
