The Delhi Police Crime Branch has rescued 333 children from the Capital in\njust 7 months. These children were missing since January 2019 from various\nparts of the country and found in the Capital, the police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Rajiv Ranjan said that they\nhave also tracked down 57 people, including 14 minors, who were kidnapped,\nabducted, or went missing from various areas in the national capital. \u201cOf\nthese, 14 are minors, 37 are females. Most of these children have been rescued\nfrom bus stands, railway stations and other crowded places in the city. During\nthe last one week, the AHTU has found 15 people who had been reported missing\nor kidnapped in Delh,\u201d said Mr. Ranjan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operation Milap<\/strong> under which\nchildren are rescued was launched in December 2014. Under this project, the\nAnti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Delhi Police develops information,\nrescues the trafficked or kidnapped person and arrests the kidnappers, he said.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n The rescued children are counselled and also given requisite medical attention. Main aim : To rescue children. Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) formed under the \u2018Milap\u2019 develops information, rescues the trafficked or kidnapped children and arrests the kidnappers.
Under this ambitious initiative, counseling & requisite medical attention has also been given to the rescued children wherever required.
