This is thanks to KSHITIJ, a documentary film club being launched by Films\nDivision, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, in\nassociation with Indian Documentary Producer\u2019s Association (IDPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The public screenings will be organized on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every\nmonth during 5:00 pm – 6:30pm at Films Division Complex, followed by a short\ninteraction of audience with the director \/ curator of the film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The documentary film club \u201cKSHITIJ\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, will be\ninaugurated by the Minister of State for Urban Development, Government of\nMaharashtra, Shri Yogesh Sagar in the presence of noted film-makers Arunaraje\nPatil and Mrinal Kulkarni today in Mumbai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The acclaimed documentary film \u201cSecret Life of Frogs\u201d by Ajay & Vijay\nBedi will be screened as the inaugural film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Films Division, established in 1948, has been relentlessly striving to\nmaintain a record of the social, political and cultural imaginations and\nrealities of the country on film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For more than the last seven decades, it has been actively working in\nencouraging and promoting a culture of film-making in India that respects\nindividual vision and social commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It holds more than 8000 titles including priceless INRs (Indian News\nReview), documentaries, short films and animation films.\n\nThe media are requested to spread the word about\nthe film club, so that people can enjoy and participate in the film screening.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This is thanks to KSHITIJ, a documentary film club being launched by Films Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, in association with Indian Documentary Producer\u2019s Association (IDPA).
