{"id":37936,"date":"2021-03-03T05:18:16","date_gmt":"2021-03-03T05:18:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=37936"},"modified":"2021-03-03T05:18:18","modified_gmt":"2021-03-03T05:18:18","slug":"government-launches-swachhta-saarthi-fellowship-for-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/government-launches-swachhta-saarthi-fellowship-for-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Government Launches Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship for Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Union Government\u2019s Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor has launched Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship for the students, community workers, self-help groups and municipal and sanitary workers engaged in tackling the waste management scientifically and sustainably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aim of the fellowship to recognize students, community workers\/self-help groups, and municipal\/sanitary workers who are engaged in tackling the enormous challenge of waste management, scientifically and sustainably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Waste to Wealth Mission is one of the nine national missions of the Prime Minister\u2019s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three categories of awards under the fellowships are as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Category-A \u2013 Open to School students from 9th to 12th standards engaged in waste management community work<\/li><li>Category-B \u2013 Open to College students (UG, PG, Research students) engaged in waste management community work<\/li><li>Category-C \u2013 Open to Citizens working in the community and through SHGs, municipal or sanitary workers working beyond specifications of their job requirement\/descriptions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The last date for applying to the fellowship is March 19th, 2021.
