The fieldwork in other State\/ UTs will be launched in August\/ September, 2019. The enumerators and supervisors engaged by CSC have been trained to collect data on mobile application developed for data capture, validation, report generation and dissemination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data will be collected through door to door survey of each household and commercial establishment under the provisions of Collection of Statistics Act 2008. Household and establishment level data collected will be kept strictly confidential and used only for developmental planning and statistical purposes by State\/ UT and central Governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data collected by enumerators will be verified by supervisors in subsequent visit to the concerned household and establishments. After completion of data collection and processing, the statistical results of 7<sup>th<\/sup> Economic Census would be released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A dedicated helpdesk with regional language support has been set up with a toll-free number (1800-3000-3468) for addressing queries of fieldworkers and citizens in general. A dedicated web-page has been created on the website of the Ministry to facilitate dissemination of information on various aspects of conduct of 7<sup>th<\/sup> Economic Census. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Economic Census 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 7<sup>th<\/sup>\nEconomic Census (7<sup>th<\/sup> EC) is being conducted by Ministry of\nStatistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in 2019. In the current\nEconomic Census, MoSPI has partnered with CSC e-Governance Services India\nLimited, a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and\nInformation Technology as the implementing agency for 7<sup>th<\/sup> Economic\nCensus. In the 7<sup>th<\/sup> Economic Census, an IT based digital platform for\ndata capture, validation, report generation and dissemination will be used. The\nresults of the exercise will be made available after verification and\nvalidation of the field work.\n\nEconomic Census will\ncover all establishments including household enterprises, engaged in production\nor distribution of goods\/services (other than for the sole purpose of own\nconsumption) in non-farm agricultural and non-agricultural sector will be\ncounted.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 7th Economic Census has been begun from Tripura on 29th July 2019, and in Puducherry soon after.
