“I am\nconfident that this partnership will help us in linking PMJAY, the industry and\nthe innovators thus enabling increased adoption of numerous inventions, leading\nto an increase in access to quality care delivered under PM-JAY,” Bhushan\nsaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NATHEALTH president\nSudarshan Ballal said, “The main objective of the joint initiative is to\nprovide and enable a healthcare innovation ecosystem that supports healthcare\ninnovators and provides them opportunities to partner and scale.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MoU aims at\nenabling an ecosystem for the industry partners within the NATHEALTH network to\nparticipate in piloting, testing, adopting, funding and scaling innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Around 26 Lakh\npeople have availed treatment so far in several hospitals across the country\nunder the scheme since its launch in September last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The insurance\nscheme aims to provide a health cover of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year\nfor secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation to over 10.74 crore vulnerable\nfamilies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scheme provides\na cashless and paperless access to services for the beneficiary at the point of\nservice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
