The 29 PRAGATI\nmeetings in the previous term, saw a cumulative review of 257 projects with a\ntotal investment of over 12 lakh crore rupees. 47 programmes\/schemes were\nreviewed. Resolution of Public Grievances was also reviewed across 17 sectors\n(21 subjects). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister\nreviewed the progress in resolution of grievances related to the PM AwasYojana\n(Urban). He underlined the resolve of the Union Government to ensure that no\nfamily will be left without a home by 2022, and exhorted the officers to work\ndiligently towards this objective, and remove all hurdles coming in the way.\nTowards this end, the Prime Minister also reviewed the resolution of public\ngrievances related to the Department of Financial Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prime Minister\nreviewed in detail, the working of Ayushman Bharat. He was informed that around\n35 lakh beneficiaries have availed of hospital admissions and over 16000\nhospitals have joined the scheme so far. Prime Minister called for dialogue\nwith States which could help in evolving best practices, and further\nimprovements in the scheme. He said that especially in the Aspirational\nDistricts, a study should be done on the benefits and positive impact of the\nscheme. He sought to know what steps are being taken to curb occasional cases\nof fraud and misuse in this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reviewing the\nprogress in Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan, the Prime Minister called for use of\ntechnology to evolve a mechanism to collect feedback from Divyang-jan, on\naccessibility issues being faced by them in public premises. He called for\ngreater public involvement and sensitivity in finding solutions for promoting\naccessibility for the Divyang-jan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emphasizing the\nimportance of Jal-Shakti, the Prime Minister called upon States to put in\nmaximum efforts towards water conservation, especially during the current\nmonsoon season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prime Minister\nreviewed the progress of eight important infrastructure projects in the railway\nand road sectors.
