\u201cWe will now work with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA)\nand Indian Government to try to establish a transitory committee, with\nrepresentatives from all sides, to handle urgent matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf no long-term solution is found by the end of August, the\nexecutive board will decide what can be done to preserve the chances of Indian\nathletes participating in the Asian championships and Asian para championships.\nAt the same time, WA will also decide whether individual athletes can\nparticipate in the Indoor Archery World Series,\u201d Dielen added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Asian championships and Asian para championships are\nimportant as they will award quota places for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and\nParalympic Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
India has secured three men\u2019s places for the Olympics but is\nyet to win a women\u2019s spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Arjun Munda-led faction of the AAI said the decision was\n\u201cunfortunate\u201d and requested the WA not to take \u201cany rash decision until the\ncourt passes its judgement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The BVP Rao-led faction said, \u201cIt\u2019s a black day for Indian\narchery\u201d and expected a speedy dispersal of the case and revocation of\nsuspension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
