The top-of-the-line package is priced around \u20b910,000 per\nmonth. This package offers 1Gbps speeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All Jio Fiber plans allow access to broadband, fixed line,\nJio HomeTV and Jio’s IoT services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Voice calling to any Indian operator would be free, Ambani\nannounced at RIL’s 42nd AGM. “ISD calling tariffs would be 1\/5th to 1\/10th\nof industry rates. We are offering unlimited US\/Canada pack at \u20b9500 per\nmonth,” said Ambani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambani also introduced Jio Forever Plans that will give\nusers an HD or 4k LED television and 4k set-top box for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani said the speed of the network\nranges between 100Mbps and 1Gbps. They also talked the various applications of\nthe service ranging from digital TV to cloud gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reliance also talked about its mixed reality (MR) startup\nTesseract. MR has many use cases including virtual shopping, education and\nmovies. The Tesseract VR headset was also demoed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chairman Mukesh Ambani said Jio is signing up 10 million new\ncustomers every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also talked about the readiness of the Jio Infocomm\nhardware and the overwhelming reception of Jio Fiber by early adopters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The core and aggregation layers of our converge\nnetwork are already 5G ready. Our wireless hardware is already 4G+ and can be\nupgraded to 5G,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Reliance, Jio Fiber’s Preview service\ngenerated interest from 15 million people in 1,600 towns. Ambani said the\nservices plans to reach more than 20 mill residences in 15 mill businesses in\n1,600 towns. 5 lakh homes are on trial plans and each of these are using more\nthan 100GB of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“US has average internet speeds of 90Mbps, our base\nplan offers a higher speed” said Ambani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reliance Jio is also eyeing enterprise customers including\nsmall and medium businesses (SMBs) and large businesses with the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
