The ARCI team explored various metallization methods and diffusion barrier materials with a systemic approach to make a stable bismuth-doped Mg2(Si1-xSnx)-Cu joint to fabricate a thermoelectric generator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARCI team explored various metallization methods and diffusion barrier materials with a systemic approach to make a stable bismuth-doped Mg2(Si1-xSnx)-Cu joint to fabricate a thermoelectric generator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The thermoelectric material can generate electricity by using a temperature difference between its two sides. The thermoelectric device can also function as a small heat pump, moving heat from one side of the device to the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nNational Refreshment Day 2021 has celebrated on July 22. It has been decided that the fourth Thursday in July, every year, would be chosen to mark the National Refreshment Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It so happened 6 years ago, in May 2015, an organization named Traveller Beer Company declared their new line of craft beer in the market, which called for celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was through their initiative that the first Refreshment Day was marked. The Registrar at the National Day Calendar officially announced the National Refreshment Day observance in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2016, this American company\u2019s other branches located in Burlington, Vermont observed the Refreshment Day on the 4th Thursday of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Considering the fact that temperatures soar higher during the month of July, refreshments find special significance in this sultry, hottest month. Summers are incomplete without sparkling, refreshing beverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nPi Approximation Day is observed on 22 July reach year to celebrate the usage of the mathematical constant \u03c0 (pi). Pi Approximation Day is also known as Casual Pi Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pi (\u03c0) was known and used ancient times approximated for almost 4000 years. The ancient Babylonians also calculated the area of the circle by taking three times the square of its radius which gave the value of pi equals to three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Archimedes of Syracuse (287\u2013212 BC), one of the greatest mathematicians of the ancient world was the first person to do the calculation of \u03c0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nDRDO recently successfully flight-tested the New Generation Akash Missile (Akash-NG), a surface-to-air Missile from Integrated Test Range (ITR) off the coast of Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The missile system has been developed by Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad in collaboration with other DRDO laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once deployed, the Akash-NG weapon system will prove to be a force multiplier for the air defence capability of the Indian Air Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Production agencies Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) also participated in the trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
