Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The unidentified\nvehicles are considered as a serious threat to security and safety of\npassengers and other stake holders of railways. It has been conducted\nspecifically in view of forthcoming celebrations of Independence Day on 15th\nAugust 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was conducted as\na special drive from 9th August to 11th August at 466 Railway Stations all over\nIndian Railways<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the drive, 04\nvehicles were recovered which were reported to be stolen and cases were\nregistered previously by the Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3943 Vehicles were\nfound parked unattended\/unclaimed for more than 05 days in the authorized\nparking lots of Railway stations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Credential of\nsuspected 894 such vehicles is being verified and suitable action will be taken\nas per the outcome of enquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, 2034\nvehicles were found parked in \u2018No Parking\u2019 zones for more than 01 day.\nCredential verification of 28 such vehicles, which are suspected, is being\ninquired into. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the operation\n549 vehicles were towed away and have been deposited with Police for further\ninvestigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A fine of Rs. 59000\/-\nhave been recovered as the charges for unauthorized parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Principal Chief Security Commissioners\/RPF\/All Zonal\nRailways have been instructed to continue this activity looking into threats\nrelated to security of Railways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
