{"id":52118,"date":"2021-09-12T14:19:57","date_gmt":"2021-09-12T14:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=52118"},"modified":"2021-09-12T14:19:59","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T14:19:59","slug":"govt-adds-dairy-products-under-tma-scheme-for-specified-agriculture-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/govt-adds-dairy-products-under-tma-scheme-for-specified-agriculture-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt adds dairy products under TMA scheme for Specified Agriculture Products\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The government has enhanced the scope of the Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for specified agriculture products scheme by including dairy products under its purview and increasing the rates of assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Department of Commerce (under Ministry of Commerce &amp; Industry) had introduced&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for Specified Agriculture Products Scheme\u2019 in 2019<\/strong>.&nbsp;The&nbsp;<strong>objective<\/strong>&nbsp;of TMA was to provide assistance for the international component of freight, to reduce the freight costs for the Indian exporters of agriculture products.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the Department has&nbsp;<strong>notified \u2018Revised Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for Specified Agriculture Products Scheme\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;for exports effected on or after 01.04.2021 up to 31.03.2022. There are&nbsp;<strong>two major changes<\/strong>&nbsp;in the revised scheme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Dairy products will now be eligible<\/strong>&nbsp;for assistance under the revised scheme.<\/li><li><strong>Rates of assistance have been increased<\/strong>, by&nbsp;<strong>50% for exports by sea<\/strong>&nbsp;and by&nbsp;<strong>100% for exports by air.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The government has enhanced the scope of the Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for specified agriculture products scheme by including dairy products under its purview and increasing the rates of assistance.
