The 21st meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State was held on 17 September 2021 in Dushanbe in hybrid format on\u00a0<strong>September 17, 2021,<\/strong> <strong> in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. <\/strong>The meeting was held under the\u00a0Chairmanship of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. The Indian delegation was led by\u00a0Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,\u00a0who participated in the meeting via video-link and at Dushanbe, India was represented by\u00a0External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar. \u00a0This was the first SCO Summit held in a hybrid format and the\u00a0fourth Summit in which India participated as a full-fledged member of SCO.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the meeting:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The leaders reviewed the organization\u2019s activities over the past two decades and discussed the state and prospects of future cooperation.<\/li><li>The SCO Summit was followed by an Outreach session on Afghanistan between SCO and the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).<\/li><li>In 2021, SCO is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its formation.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister participated virtually in the 21st Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), and through video-message in the Joint SCO-CSTO Outreach Session on Afghanistan.
