Goalkeepers are the foundation\u2019s campaign to accelerate progress towards the\u00a0<strong>Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The award were given in the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>The 2021 Global Goalkeeper Award<\/strong>&nbsp;:&nbsp;Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, former United Nations under-secretary-general and executive director of UN Women. She has been honoured for fighting for gender equality and her continued advocacy to address the Covid-19 pandemic\u2019s disproportionate impact on women and girls.
