He will replace the current Aviation Secretary\u00a0<strong>Pradeep Singh Kharola,<\/strong>\u00a0who retires on 30 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year in February, Bansal was appointed as the chairman and managing director of Air India for a second time.
