The station will now become the first Indian Railways station, which will get 100 percent day energy through solar panels. With this, the 100 percent day energy requirement of Chennai Central railway station is met by Solar Power, according to the Railway Ministry. Recently, PM\u00a0Narendra Modi\u00a0has also expressed his happiness over Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.
