Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla will be the chief guest of the event. Union Minister of Tourism, Culture &amp; DoNER Shri G. Kishan Reddy, MoS for Tourism Shri Ajay Bhatt, and MoS for Tourism Shri Shripad Yesso Naik will also grace the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NIDHI scheme was launched by the Ministry of Tourism to facilitate the digitalization of the tourism sector and promote ease of doing business for the hospitality &amp; tourism sector, by encouraging all accommodation units to register themselves on the platform to become part of the hospitality industry.\u00a0The NIDHI 2.0 database will have more inclusivity, by not only including accommodation units, but also travel agents, tour operators, &amp; others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will also be signed between the Ministry of Tourism, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and The Responsible Tourism Society of India (RTSOI) to actively promote and support \u2018sustainability initiatives\u2019 in the tourism sector of each other.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Tourism is organizing an event to celebrate \u201cWorld Tourism Day 2021\u201d on 27th\u00a0September 2021 in New Delhi, which has been designated by the UNWTO as a day to focus on \u201cTourism for Inclusive Growth\u201d.
