This means the bank will no longer face strict lending restrictions that were put in place by the RBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RBI said that as per the published results for the year ended March 31, 2021, IOB is not in breach of the PCA parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reserve Bank has specified certain regulatory trigger points, as a part of the prompt corrective action (PCA) framework, in terms of&nbsp;3 parameters, i.e. capital to risk-weighted assets ratio,&nbsp;net non-performing assets, and&nbsp;<strong>Return on Assets<\/strong>.&nbsp;These should be maintained by banks. This is the&nbsp;<strong>first successful resolution<\/strong>&nbsp;of a&nbsp;<strong>financial services company under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total consideration of Rs 34,250 crore includes an upfront cash payment of nearly Rs 14,700 crore and issuance of debt instruments of nearly Rs 19,550 crores (10-year NCDs at 6.75% p.a. on a half-yearly basis).
