Deputy Chief Minister of UP Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya and MoSSports, Youth Welfare, Panchayati Raj, UP Shri Upendra Tiwarialso graced the occasion. Secretary of Department of Sports M\/o YAS GoI, Smt. Usha Sharma and senior officials of the State and Centre have also attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The nation-wide cleanliness drive was inaugurated by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur,<\/strong> from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Prayagraj<\/strong> in Uttar Pradesh on October 01, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The aim of the programme is to create awareness, mobilize people and ensure their involvement in cleaning waste mainly Single-Use Plastic waste throughout the country. This cleanliness drive aims to propagate the mantra of\u00a0\u201cClean India: Safe India\u201d.
