Doumbouy, led the military coup in September 05, 2021, to overthrow&nbsp;<strong>83-year-old President Alpha Conde.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former French legionnaire, 41, becomes Africa&#8217;s second-youngest leader, after Mali&#8217;s Assimi Go\u00efta, 38, who also staged a military takeover. The 41-year old Col Doumbouya is Africa\u2019s second-youngest leader, after Mali\u2019s 38-year-old Assimi Go\u00efta.
