The activities between the two sides will start after the\nreceipt of copy of the signed MoU. The initiatives taken between the two\ncountries will be as per the terms of reference of the MoU signed and will be a\ncontinuing process till the MoU remains in operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expenditure involved:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
There are no additional financial implications involved. The\nfinancial resources necessary to conduct research, training courses,\nconferences\/ meetings and deputations of experts will be met from the existing\nallocated budget and existing plan schemes of Ministry of AYUSH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Background<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
India is blessed with well-developed systems of traditional\nmedicine including medicinal plants, which hold tremendous potential in the\nglobal health scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry of AYUSH of the Republic of India having\nmandate to promote, propagate AYUSH systems (including Ayurveda, Yoga and\nNaturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy) globally. As a part of\nglobal promotion and propagation of the AYUSH systems of medicine, the Ministry\nof AYUSH has signed Country to Country MoUs on cooperation in the field of\nTraditional Medicine with various countries and also established AYUSH academic\nChairs in identified Universities in various foreign countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keeping in view of the need for promotion and propagation of\nAYUSH systems of medicine in Guinea, our standard draft MoU for cooperation in\nthe field of Traditional medicine and Homoeopathy was shared with the Guinean\nside through Central and West Africa Division, Ministry of External Affairs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
