Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), a joint venture of NTPC Ltd and Power Grid Corp. of India Ltd, has appointed Arun Kumar Mishra as chief executive officer (CEO) on deputation. He will be responsible for EESL\u2019s operations across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mishra in the statement said, “It is an honour to be a part of the world’s largest public energy service company. The government has acknowledged the potential of renewable energy… I look forward to consolidating EESL leadership position in sustainable energy transformation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About the EESL:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n EESL, an energy service company (ESCO), is among the earliest entrants in India\u2019s energy efficiency market estimated at around \u20b974,000 crores, and is presently running the world\u2019s largest domestic lighting programme.
