The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur<\/strong> inaugurated the \u2018MyParkings\u2019 app <\/strong>on October 14, 2021.<\/strong> The IOT technology-enabled app has been developed by Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL)<\/strong> with South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) to digitize all authorized parking under SDMC municipal limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While launching the app, Anurag Thakur said that the introduction of ‘MyParking’ App would smoothen the process of booking parking slots as a citizen can see the availability of slots remotely and can even book the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the facility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The facility will be subsequently rolled out in other municipality divisions across India.<\/li>
  2. The main objective of the app is to help reduce pollution by minimizing the time spent searching for parking spots.<\/li>
  3. The \u2018MyParking\u2019 App will offer effortless solution to users for hassle-free parking and booking of online parking slots to park their vehicles without inconvenience.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
