The National Lab Directory presently encompasses NABL\naccredited, BIS Recognised\/Empanelled Labs, Hallmarking Labs. The labs which\nare recognised\/notified by FASAI, APEDA, EIC, can also be indicated\naccordingly. All testing facilities for various labs can be searched by\nProducts, IS standards, etc. Besides intelligent search cutting across various\ndatabases interlinked through APIs, there is an interactive Geographical\nInformation System and Drill Down Dashboard. This Directory will benefit all\nstakeholders such as manufacturers, consumers, regulatory agencies, government\nand research institutions in identifying the test facilities that are required\nfor assessing conformity of relevant products or in testing for the purpose of\nresearch and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shri Paswan also\nlaunched a re-engineered CRSBIS Portal. The Testing Facilities are being\ncompletely digitised so as to make these objective & free from the existing\nDoc & PDF files. The process of submission of samples and request\/ approval\nof registration for IT and Solar Products has been re-engineered to expedite\nand facilitate the process of registration with BIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
