Sharma Oli jointly inaugurated South Asia\u2019s first\ncross-border petroleum products pipeline from Motihari in India to Amlekhgunj\nin Nepal through video conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Oli expressed\nappreciation for early implementation of this important connectivity project,\ncompleted much ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Modi said that the 69-km Motihari-Amlekhgunj\npipeline, having a capacity of 2 million metric ton per annum, will provide\ncleaner petroleum products at affordable cost to the people of Nepal. He\nwelcomed the announcement made by Prime Minister Oli to reduce the price of\npetroleum products by Rs. 2 per litre in Nepal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Modi noted that regular exchanges at highest\npolitical levels have laid down a forward looking agenda for expanding\nIndia-Nepal partnership. He expressed confidence that bilateral relations\nbetween India and Nepal will continue to further deepen and expand across\ndiverse sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
