Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Chairman, UPSC, Shri Arvind Saxena, addressed the\ngathering on the occasion. He expressed his gratitude to the former Chairmen\nand members of the Commission for gracing the occasion and reinforcing the\nCommission’s core foundation of tradition and continuity which gives UPSC its\nrobust image of reliability and maintaining the highest standards of probity.\nHe also emphasised on the rich and diverse professional backgrounds, the acumen\nand wisdom and the highest standards of integrity, which the members bring to\nthe Commission which, alongwith their active oversight over all its functions,\nprovides the base of constructing this Institution. He also enlightened the\naudience about the achievements and the new initiatives being undertaken by the\nCommission and informed that the Commission has been continuously looking at\nits own systems and is open to discussion and suggestions for improvements in\ncritical areas like conduct of examination, recruitments, and evaluation\nthrough interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
