Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nParyatan Parv 2019 is dedicated to 150th Birth Anniversary\nof Mahatma Gandhi. Paryatan Parv is being organized with the objective of\ndrawing focus on the benefits of tourism, showcasing the cultural diversity of\nthe country and reinforcing the principle of \u201cTourism for All\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The three components of Paryatan Parv, are:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Dekho Apna Desh:<\/strong>\nTo encourage Indians to visit their own country. In the run up to the parv,\nseveral activities have beenorganised across the Country like Photography\ncontest covering tourism attractions and experiences, promotion on Social\nMedia, Tourism related Quiz, Essay, Debate and Painting Competitions for\nStudents. General public engagement for the event will be promoted through the\nMyGov platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\nTourism for All:<\/strong>\nTourism Events at sites across all States in the country are being organised.\nThe activities at these sites will include illumination in and around the\nSites, Cultural Programmes of Dance, Music, Theatre, Story Telling,\nSensitisationProgrammes for Stakeholders around the Sites, Tourism Exhibitions,\nShowcasing Culture, Cuisine and Handicrafts \/ Handlooms, Guided Heritage Walks,\netc.<\/p>\n\n\n\nTourism &\nGovernance:<\/strong> Interactive Sessions & Workshops with Stakeholders on\nvaried themes have beenorganised across the Country as a part of the Paryatan\nparv activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe highlights of the event in Rajpath Lawns (in between Rafi Marg and\nJanpath), New Delhi are:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n- 31 Theme Pavilions of States& Line\nMinistries<\/li>
- Food Court with 59 Food Stalls<\/li>
- Kitchen Studio by Institute of Hotel Management<\/li>
- Crafts Bazaar with 76 Handicraft & Handloom\nStalls etc.<\/li>
- Cultural Performances by States \/ UTs and North\nZone Cultural Centre<\/li>
- Yoga Demo, Training and Therapy by Morarji Desai\nNational Institute of Yoga, Ministry of Ayush<\/li>
- Exhibition on the theme by Bureau of Outreach\nCommunication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting<\/li>
- Stall by Ministry of Consumer Affairs on the\ntheme \u201cJagoGrahakJago\u201d<\/li>
- Stall by Department of Posts Government of India\nhighlighting \u201cMy Stamp Counter, Sale of Philatelic Ancillaries and Gandhi\nPresentation Packs\u2019 during the Parv.<\/li>
- Stall by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs\nspreading awareness on Swachh Bharat Mission<\/li>
- Stall by Ministry of Road Transport spreading\nawareness on Road Safety<\/li>
- Stall to promote khadi and products of village\nindustries or handicrafts by Khadi & Village Industries Commission<\/li>
