Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nAs announced before, Naveen directly interacted with people\nto understand their experiences in State-run hospitals and police stations. The\nChief Minister rang up nine persons randomly selected from \u2018Mo Sarkar\u2019 portal\nand took their feedback on the response they received from hospitals and police\nstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI spoke to nine men and women today regarding corruption\nand harassment at hospitals and police stations. The report that I got back was\nextremely satisfactory,\u201d Naveen said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister spoke to people from Balangir,\nSundargarh, Malkangiri, Jajpur and Baripada and sought feedback on their\nexperiences at Government hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, he also telephoned people in Nayagarh, Ganjam,\nBalasore and Bhawanipatna to know whether they were satisfied with the services\nprovided at the police stations. The Chief Minister made the calls from Naveen\nNivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While giving their opinions and feedback on hospitals and\npolice stations, the people thanked Naveen for this innovative programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the day, Naveen also visited Capital Hospital and Saheed\nNagar police station along with Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, DGP B K Sharma,\nSecretary, 5T V Karthikeytan Pandian – brain behind the implementation – along\nwith Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Releasing the logo and preamble of \u2018Mo Sarkar,\u2019 he hailed\nthe programme as a pioneering initiative to completely transform the way\nGovernment offices deliver services to people, treating them with dignity and\nin a professional manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Mo Sarkar\u2019 programme has been launched in 21 district\nheadquarters hospitals and medical colleges at Cuttack, Sambalpur and\nBerhampur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme will be implemented in all the district\nheadquarters hospitals by October 30, while all the departments in the State\nwill be covered by March 5, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme has been fully implemented at all district\npolice headquarters and Commissionerate Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) is the nodal agency to\nmonitor the activities of all call centres under the supervision of DGP Sharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The DGP, who was present along with other senior police\nofficers at Saheed Nagar police station, said about 9,800 calls have been made\nto the complainants so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The call centres, which were set up at all district\nheadquarters and Commissionerate Police headquarters besides the SCRB, started\nfunctioning from September 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister had announced the \u2018Mo Sarkar\u2019 programme\non August 15 based on 5T (Transparency, Teamwork, Technology, Time and\nTransformation) model of governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The objective of \u2018Mo Sarkar\u2019 is to improve governance by\ncollecting feedback on behaviour and professionalism displayed by the\nGovernment officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the programme, phone numbers of people visiting\nGovernment offices will be registered and an SMS will be sent to them in 24\nhours. If anyone does not receive the SMS or fails to register his\/her phone\nnumber, then they can give a missed call to 14545 to get themselves registered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
