{"id":60408,"date":"2021-10-30T05:51:03","date_gmt":"2021-10-30T05:51:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=60408"},"modified":"2021-10-30T05:51:04","modified_gmt":"2021-10-30T05:51:04","slug":"maharashtra-becomes-1st-state-launch-its-own-wildlife-action-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/maharashtra-becomes-1st-state-launch-its-own-wildlife-action-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Maharashtra becomes 1st state launch its own Wildlife Action Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During the&nbsp;<strong>17th<\/strong>&nbsp;meeting of the&nbsp;<strong>State Board for Wildlife (SBWL),<\/strong>&nbsp;the government of Maharashtra approved its own&nbsp;<strong>Wildlife Action Plan (2021-2030),<\/strong>&nbsp;which will be implemented over the next 10 years. <strong>Maharashtra<\/strong>&nbsp;has become the first state in the country to release its own&nbsp;<strong>Wildlife Action plan (2021-30).<\/strong> The board has also approved the extension of the boundary of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, in the Chandrapur district of the Vidarbha region, by around 79 sq km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new plan will be a guiding document to frame an action plan for wildlife conservation over the next 10 years.
