Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah launched the \u201cDairy Sahakar\u201d scheme at Gujarat\u2019s Anand on October 31, 2021, with the overall objectives of doubling the farmers\u2019 income and Atmanirbhar Bharat. \u201cThe Dairy Sahakar, with a total investment of Rs 5000 crore will be implemented by NCDC, under the Ministry of Cooperation, to realize the vision: \u201cfrom cooperation to prosperity\u201d,\u201d the ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scheme will be implemented by National Cooperative Development Corporation <\/strong>under the Ministry of Cooperation. The scheme will supplement the existing efforts of strengthening the dairy sector in the country, doubling the farmer’s income as well as realizing the vision of \u2018from cooperation to prosperity\u2019.
