The estimated time period for the project was 11 years. In this project,\nAlstom and the Indian Railways hold 74% and 26% equity share, respectively, in\nMELPL. After the test and trials, Alstom will accelerate the delivery schedule.\nThe new recovery plan is to supply ten locomotives in FY2019-20, and 90\nlocomotives in FY20-21 and 100 locomotives per year beyond March 2021 as per\ntheir recovery plan.
