The satellites would be launched by India&#8217;s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C47 into a Sun Synchronous Orbit from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The 13 nanosatellites from the US is a part of the commercial arrangement with NewSpace India Ltd. NSIL is a new company that was set up recently under the Department of Space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2019<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cartosat-3 is a &#8220;third generation agile advanced\nsatellite&#8221; having high resolution imaging capability, it said, adding that\nthe satellite would be placed in an orbit of 509 km at an inclination of 97.5\ndegree. Cartosat-3 has an advanced and better spatial version with a resolution\nof up to 0.25m (25cm) as compared to the Cartosat-2 series satellites.
