The floating city project is a joint effort by the UN Human Settlement Programme (UN-Habit) and OCEANIX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city will be built off the coast of Busan in South Korea and is likely be completed by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The floating city will have \u2018flood-proof infrastructure\u2019 and comprise several man-made islands to eliminate the risk of flooding.
