He was 66. He was born on&nbsp;<strong>May 20th, 1955<\/strong>&nbsp;in Anakapalle village in Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh. He launched his first song in the film, \u2018Janani Janmabhoomi\u2019 directed by K Viswanath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1986 the movie \u2018Sirivennela\u2019 directed by K Viswanath made him famous and also gave him a second name as \u2018Sirivennela\u2019 Seetharama Sastry. He got the first \u2018Nandi Award for best lyricist for \u2018Sirivennela\u2019, presented by the Andhra Pradesh state government.
