Former Supreme Court judge, Justice\u00a0Girish Thakorlal Nanavati\u00a0who headed two inquiry commissions formed to probe into the\u00a02002 Godhra Riots\u00a0&\u00a01984 Anti-Sikh Riots,\u00a0passed away. Justice Girish Thakorlal Nanavati was 86. He was born on 17th February 1935 and he enrolled as an Advocate in the Bombay High Court on 11th February 1958. He Remained on the Government Pleaders’ Panel and thereafter, he was appointed a permanent Judge of the Gujarat High Court in July 1979 and he retired as an SC Judge in February 2000.
