The setting up of \u2018Virtual Police Stations\u2019 in educational\ninstitutions is set to become a reality soon, with Chief Minister scheduled to\ninaugurate the first such facility in the State at Andhra University. The AU\nfacility is being looked at as a pilot project, and this will later be\nreplicated at other educational institutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility would make it easy for students to report\ntheir grievances help bridge the gap between students and the police department,\nfurther resolving their issues. Varsity officials provided the space,\ninfrastructure, technical support and a dedicated block to the virtual police\nstation.
